autonomous vehicle Sensor Cover

Toyota Research Institute brought us in to support the design development of an autonomous vehicle, focusing on the roof-mounted sensor enclosure that housed cameras and electronic hardware. The challenge was to integrate advanced technology into the vehicle exterior while maintaining a clean, refined, and production-ready design language.

Using sketches, clay scale models, and 3D scan data as reference, we developed the 3D CAD model and refined the surfaces to Class-A standards. This created precise, high-quality design data that supported visualization, engineering review, and further vehicle development.
